Do you know about Frederick Chopin?
Chopin is Polish and is a famous musician who is loved all over the world. He wrote many songs and left a lot of music to the world. Nocturne and Etude are the most famous. He was in bad health throughout his life. For this reason, there are many particularly lyrical and gloomy music in his songs. Chopin said he didn't intentionally try to put his depressed inner side into the music. It is said that he just naturally tried to put all his emotions into the music. His musical characteristics are distinct from other musicians. He mainly performs colorful and lyrical music. Liszt and Schumann, who are famous among musicians, also performed music that referenced Chopin's musical characteristics.

Interviewer: What advice would you give to aspiring musicians who seek to follow in your footsteps?


Fryderyk Chopin: To the aspiring musicians, I say: listen to your own voice. The world is replete with conventions and expectations, but true art is born from authenticity. Learn from others, yes, but use what you learn to better understand your own expression. Play each note as if it were your soul speaking, and never forget that music, at its core, is the sound of the human spirit.


Chopin brings us comfort and calm. Why don't you listen to his music?
